Jim is currently with Unilab as Director under the company’s Corporate Digital Team. Prior to Unilab, Jim has served as the Network Head of Social Media for Dentsu Philippines and General Manager both for iProspect, a Digital and Performance Marketing agency and D+Gility Social Media Command Center. Previously, he was with McCann Worldgroup where he worked for almost a decade both locally and regionally handling big brands under Nestle, Unilever, Jollibee, BPI and Unilab.
In 2014, he moved to Singapore to join Commonwealth//McCann, a bespoke agency created for one of McCann’s biggest global account, General Motors. He led the social media business for Chevrolet covering Asia, Middle East and South Africa. In 2015, he was appointed as Head of Social Media and Strategy in McCann Worldgroup Singapore leading both the practice and the business in the region. Together with his team, he worked with brands like Owndays, Nespresso, Land Transportation Authority, Xbox, Nestle, Singapore Exchange, Mastercard and Darlie.
Besides juggling his network responsibilities, Jim is also active in the industry. Recently, together with industry colleagues and partners, he launched the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP) whom he is now chairing as founding President. Jim has also won recognitions recently, particularly one of the winners of Campaign Asia’s 40 under 40 and the 15th Mansmith Young Masters Awards, an award giving body recognizing excellent Filipino marketers, sales managers and entrepreneurs as today’s role models.
Jim is a graduate of Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) at the University of Asia and the Pacific which he is also part of the faculty teaching Digital Marketing for graduating students.
